ORAL SURGEON

ORLANDO ORAL SURGEON

Dr. Ronald Trevisani

1. Making the Incision

A small opening is made in the gum to expose the jawbone. This allows the surgeon to prepare the bone.

2. Preparing the Bone

A precise hole is slowly and gently drilled into the jawbone. The size of the hole depends on the size of the implant.

3. Placing the Implant

The implant is twisted into position. Then the incision is closed with stitches. In some cases, abutments are placed at the same time as implants.

4. The Prosthesis Is in Place

The crown may be screwed or cemented to the abutment.
